Bonding method for vitrified brick

2018-04-20 22:24:43

Vitrified brick is a kind of decorative material, often used in the interior and exterior walls and ground decoration, with a good decorative effect. However, since the vitrified brick is a material with a very dense surface and is not easy to paste, the problem of falling off the bond layer and the vitrified brick often occurs, which affects the decorative effect and sometimes has security risks. Therefore, it is necessary to use vitrified brick binder to improve adhesion and resist destructive stress.

Mixing: Add drinking water (tap water) to the mixing bucket, and then add the adhesive amount by amount, the mixing ratio is: 1 part water: 4 parts dry powder, and stir well with a low speed (150r/min) electric mixer (750W)

Group method: (large size. Example: 300×600mm and above paste vitrefied brick please use this method) Apply the appropriate amount of adhesive on the construction bottom surface, and use a spatula with appropriate tooth pitch to form a full strip in a straight direction at 60-70 degrees

5

1) Scrape a small amount of adhesive paste with a spatula on the back of the vitrefied brick (smooth the back groove), remove the dust and debris on the bottom surface, and improve the bonding surface.

6

2) Paste the ceramic tile or stone coated with glue on the exact position as required, and then move the non-vitrified brick after 15min. If necessary, remove the adhesive on the back of the vitrified brick and the construction surface. Re-paste with binder paste.

Matters needing attention
1

The stirred binder should be used up within 4 hours, stirred once every half an hour to maintain good operability, and the cured binder is prohibited.

2

24 hours after construction. Subsequent construction (joint filling) can be carried out on the surface, but no vibrating machinery can be used to work on the construction surface, with a certain strength in 7 days and the highest strength in 28 days.

3

The construction is carried out at 5 ° C to 35 ° C to avoid strong winds and rainy days and avoid being soaked by water.
