epubBuilder Import zip packages/directories to do comics

2018-02-23 03:12:00

Originally doing epub comics is a very hard thing, many students have a lot of zip comics, but because it is difficult to do the book, they gave up the opportunity to earn book money. epubBuilder's "Import zip package/directory" feature changes that completely. The following is a tutorial for making an epub book with an imported zip/directory. You can make a book in three simple steps.

Tools/Materials

epubBuilder software, you need to download the latest version.

Methods/Steps
1

Open epubBuilder and click on the "" in the top left corner to fill in the details of the comic. It would be silly to download a book without a category or cover, so fill it in as completely as possible. Click "OK" and save it. That's the end of step one.

2

The next step is to import zip package/directory comics. First select "Import" and then click "Import zip package/directory" (usually the "Import" interface will be displayed directly after the first step). Click the "Browse" button to find the document you want to use to make the book, and the second step is almost over.

3

The last step is to publish as epub. Select "Publish" and click "Generate epub" to save the finished book!

Matters needing attention
1

The second step notes.

2

There are three things to pay attention to in this step: 1) picture cutting, 2) scaling and 3) chapter processing. 1) Some comics are two pages scanned into a wide page picture, if the book is not pagination cut when reading the picture will become very small. epubBuilder automatically cuts images that are too wide according to the Settings in the "Cutting Options" section on the left. Select the "Smart vertical cutting" method according to the way the original book turns the page, and epubBuilder will automatically split the picture that is too wide into pages when importing the picture.

3

2) The next step is to decide how to scale the image. Scaling the picture to the appropriate size can speed up the turning of pages while you are reading a book. Usually 768x1024 is the best size. Too small the picture will be blurred on a large screen, too large the file will become large.

5

3) Finally, the "Chapter Options" in the lower left corner. Cartoons usually draw one chapter at a time. epubBuilder supports custom chapter names. When images are imported, epubBuilder automatically sets chapter names according to the chapter name definition.

6

Once you've decided on all three items, click "Import" in the bottom right corner, and epubBuilder will start importing images. If the file is large, the operation may take a little time. When this is done, epubBuilder will ask if you want to select a cover from the imported image. If you want to change the cover from the first step, you can select one from the image. Step two is now complete.

7

If the comic is a series and has multiple zip packages/directories, click "Clone from..." in the bottom left corner of the first book when making a new book. You can copy the material from the book you have already made into the new book, and change the title. It'll save you a lot of time. Try it.
