PHC clutch assembly disassembly steps
Loosen the fastening bolts of the engine
Disengage engine from transmission
Lift the engine and place it on the platform
This page is based on experience
Open the clutch assembly and take out the driving disc and the driven disc
The composition of hydraulic control mechanism: clutch pedal, master cylinder, (liquid storage tank two separate bearings. Power spring), working cylinder and oil transmission components.
The installation process of the clutch is installed on the basic contrary to the disassembly. It should be noted that the engine output shaft is inserted first during the installation process, in order to fix the position of the friction plate and the pressure plate.
The free travel of the clutch pedal is the reflection on the pedal of the gap between the inner end of the clutch diaphragm spring and the release bearing. Santana car clutch pedal free travel is 15-25mm, if the pedal has no free travel, that is, when the clutch pedal is relaxed in the combined state, the separation bearing still maintains contact with the inner end of the diaphragm spring, which will accelerate the separation bearing damage. If the diaphragm spring is pushed by the separation bearing, it will cause the clutch to slip when transmitting engine torque. If the free travel of the pedal is too large, the travel of the separation bearing to push the diaphragm spring forward is shortened, and the distance of the pressure plate moving backward is also shortened, and the pressure plate can not be completely removed from the driven plate, so that the clutch can not be completely separated, resulting in gear shifting difficulties. Santana car clutch adopts hydraulic control mechanism, the clutch master cylinder push rod is equipped with adjusting nut to adjust the clutch pedal free travel.
